WHAT IS MSA?

MSA

IS ABOUT

SHARING

THE STOKE...

IN AND OUT

OF THE WATER!

The Manila Surfers Association (MSA) is not just a bunch of city-bound surfers. We care about helping to create a community of responsible Manila surfers who are aware of, are in tune with, and value the virtues and challenges of the coastal areas that we regularly visit.

We are committed to promoting not just the sport but the general well-being of surf enthusiasts and the surfing environment, which includes the water, the beaches, and the locals who live and surf there.

This vision of ours translates into having community events that promote these values. Our surf competitions always have corresponding benefits for the communities we hold these events in.

Here are some of our

community programs

Surf Kalikasan

Our last Surfkalikasan event serves to address a crucial problem in coastal areas: pollution. During our last Surfkalikasan event in La Union, we worked with Haribon Foundation, who provided workshops on coastal preservation and other environmental protection programs to members of the La Union Surf Club (LUSC).

Surf Skwela

MSA believes that children are the key to any given community's future. With Surfskwela, we provide local schools with computers and other school materials that help enhance the children's learning experience.
