TEAM CHALLENGE

Note: Only a maximum of 6 teams will be allowed to register. First come, first served.

A. Team Competition

General Rules and Mechanics

1. The competition will proceed in the usual MSA format, and with no additional fees. The top two from each heat will advance.

2. Each team member in the Novice, Open, Invitational and Mixed Local Groms divisions can earn points for the team by advancing to the next round.

3. Each team member can join a maximum of two divisions. (Exception: Local groms and Novice may only join one division)

Eligibility

1. Each team must have a minimum of 4, and a maximum of 8 members.

2. Two of the members should be local groms (surfers ages 15 and below).

3. Each person in the team must sign up for at least one division.

4. Each team must be formed on or before November 23, 2015.

5. Only a maximum of 6 teams will be allowed to join the Team Competition Challenge.

6. Competitors cannot be part of more than one team.

B. People’s Choice Award

1. Teams can also win the People’s Choice award. This is the team with the most votes during the event.

2. Participants and their supporters (MSA or non-MSA) may vote by dropping their raffle coupons into the team’s ballot box from November

   28 to 29 in San Juan, La Union. Voting ends on November 29 at 7pm. The winning team with the most votes will be announced during

   the party and will receive a trophy and prizes from our sponsors.

3. The grand prize for the raffle will be drawn from the People’s Choice ballot box.
